Hi,

I just laid out a reading on a question regarding a possible change of residence for my family. I laid out the cards and ran into a dilemma in the outcome card. I got the reversed two of pentacles. The problem is that I don’t use reversed cards. I know what the card means, it means that in some way, this move is going to be a financial problem, whether because we’re financially unable to move or the increase in the rent proves burdensome in a way that is untenable. But it bothers me that I don’t use reverse cards and I haven’t picked up this deck in ages which means that once a while ago when I dropped the box on the floor and the cards scattered everywhere, I forgot to turn one or two upright as I collected them. I don’t want to see this as a reversed two if it isn’t a reversed two. There’ s a big difference in outlook of this situation between and upright and a reversed two.

If this helps with the answer, every card leading up to it is overwhelmingly positive. This tells me that either it really looks like it’s going to go through and then at the last minute, it doesn’t, or that card should not be reversed.

FYI, a Celtic Cross, cards as follows:

1) 8 of coins
2) K of cups
3) Kn of wands
4) Wheel of Fortune
5) A of cups
6) Empress
7) Lovers 8) 9 of cups
9) Q of Cups
10) 2 of coins, up? down?

Thanks.
IF YOU ARE HERE TO GIVE ME SOME COMMENT ABOUT TAROT CARDS BEING SINFUL OR FAKE, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF OR I’LL REPORT YOU AND THEN FOLLOW YOU EVERYWHERE MAKING SURE TO THUMBS-DOWN EVERY SIMILAR SUCH THING TO SAY TO ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING.

Honestly, if don’t believe it it don’t answer. If I’m going to Hell, let me worry about it.
If “you” don’t believe it, that is.
HEY BALLS, some people really can’t read instructions. Way to show off that edjumication.
Shyra, I usually think along those lines too, but understand that I dropped this deck like two months ago. I was in a hurry to get out the door and I didn’t have time to put them all back in order. So it’s sort of a gray area…I’m not sure, you know?
ARD, I’ve seen many sources and readers, and publishers of books who do not adhere to reversed meanings. I do know how to deal with them, I know what they mean, but I have issues regarding methods of having them come up inverted that have integrity. For example, usually I agree with what was already said that if something happens and through some freak accident a card inverts, then you were meant to get that card. I just think that in most cases, you’ll almost never get a reversed card unless you have a methodology for intentionally reversing a certain percentage of the deck. I’m not sure I believe that there’s integrity in doing so. And since it would then be really rare to have a reversed card, why even use them?
Konswayla, it was inverted and face up.
John, thanks for the positive spin that doesn’t sort of ignore my conflicts over this… not that I don’t completely appreciate all the answers…except for that Balls guy who I reported and who I hope will be gone.
John C, you’re going to love this. I went and ran the reading on the link you gave me as a lark. I used to have a Crowley deck — it was very six of cups to see it again.

These were the cards:

1) Six of swords (the place I’d be moving you have to take a ferry to get to and from.).
2) Queen of Wands (I’m a Leo and my friend is a Sagittarius).
3) Prince of Wands (not sure who this is at this point. My friend’s husband is a Taurus, but I suppose the physical description works, so it’s him or someone else in the picture.).
4) Knight of Wands (showing that I want rapid action and movement on this).
5) The lovers
6) 3 of cups
7) The Chariot (always good for a move, I suppose). Are U-Hauls chariot-like? 8) The High Priestess
9) 7 of wands
10) Lust
11) 4 of wands
Sadhara,

My Celtic Cross pattern is like so:

1) Present situation, placed where that card almost always goes.
2) Crosses card one and is the obstacle card.
3) I place this beneath the cross formed by cards 1 & 2 and it is the distant past or foundation of the question.
4) I place this to the left of 1 & 2 and it is the recent past.
5) I place this above 1 & 2 and it is the best possible fortune that can be achieved or guardian angel force.
6) I place this to the right of 1 & 2 and it’s the near future events

Cards up the right side:

7) Self in relationship to the question, above that - 8) Influence of society/others in relationship to the question, above that,
9) Inner hopes, fears, not fully explored emotions, above that,
10) Outcome.

A few years ago I had a tarot reading.

The card was mainly blue, with a big “A” in the center.

What’s this card?

I got a reading 10 years ago, and remember it now because many things from the reading have come true. I got the guy pointing the sword towards the sky in victory for the final card in the center spot. I don’t the name of the card, the reader said this was the perfect card to get in the perfect spot. Wondering if there is any tarot card confirmed rule that this is in fact an awesome card to have for the final center spot. Again i don’t know the card placement it went in a box with the final card filling the center. Question is this really the sickest card to get in the sickest spot? Any internet data as backup is appreciated to backup any answers.

I am not very experienced with each Tarot card since I have only read a Tarot Reading book for beginners. That’s why I feel a bit confused reading for anyone else.
How should I practice reading to understand a card’s meaning deeper for each situation? How did you start it?
Thanks everyone.
I’m 20 and very serious about exploring the mystic world, I don’t want to take Tarot reading as a job, I would only do the reading if someone really needs it and I would never charge so to collect their info and to pretend to understand the cards is not my reference. thanx LD anyways.

I have a job interview tomorrow morning and would like to do a tarot reading tonight to see how my day might unfold. What is the best card layout to use for this particular instance?

the future of my current job was described in the tarot card as, A static nature that is unprogressive, dull, timid, idle, or careless. It indicates stagnation in one’s affairs. Time to find a new job?
